Veggie Taco Meat
Ingredients:
- 1 C T.V.P.
- 1 1/2 T Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- dash Cayenne
- 1-2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Onion (chopped)
- 1 Clove Garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp Oil
- salt to taste
Method:
- In a large skillet saute onion in oil over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
- Add garlic, cook about 1 minute.
- In a small saucepan, add T.V.P. to 1 C boiling water.
- Quickly add chili powder, cumin, cayenne, and soy sauce; stir until all of the water
and spices are absorbed.
- Incorporate the T.V.P. mixture with the onions in the skillet.
- Add salt to taste.
