Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread
Ingredients:
- 450 + 50 g 100% Whole Wheat Flour
- 150 + 250 ml Pea Milk (or Oat Milk)
- 3 T Plant Based Butter
- 1 T Dry Yeast
- 1 T Maple Syrup or Honey
- 2 tsp Salt
Method:
- Prepare the tangzhong by combing 50 g of flour and 250 ml of pea milk in small pot. Simmer on
medium low while stirring until mixture becomes paste like.
- Set aside and let cool until almost room temperature.
- Mix all ingredients together and knead.
- Place in 12" bread pan and let rise until dough is slightly above rim.
- (Optional) Use a lame (or sharp knife) to score top of loaf twice down center about 1/2" apart.
- Bake in preheated 350F oven for 35 minutes.
