Triple C IPA

Ingredients:

Specialty Grains:

  • 1 kg Crystal

Fermentables:

  • 1.5 kg Gold LME
  • 1.5 kg Amber LME

Hops:

  • 60 g Cascade (1/2 at 60min and 1/2 at 30min)
  • 30 g Chinook (1/2 at 15min and 1/2 at 5min)
  • 30 g Citra (1/2 at 15min and 1/2 at 5min)

Yeast:

  • Wyeast American Ale (1056)

Method:

  1. Steep specialty grains at 150F for 30 minutes in 6 Gals of water.
  2. Remove steeped grains.
  3. Add fermentables and raise temperature to boiling.
  4. Add 30 g of Cascade hops
  5. add 30 g of Cascade hops after 30 minutes
  6. Add 15 g of Chinook and 15 g of Citra at 45 minutes
  7. Add 15 g of Chinook and 15 g of Citra at 55 minutes
  8. After 60 minutes of boil time transfer wort to fermentation chamber

and let cool.

  1. Add yeast.
  2. Let ferment for a week.
  3. Bottle.
