Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients:

Sauce:

  • 50 ml Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 T Soy Sauce (or Tamari for gluten free)
  • 50 ml Maple Syrup
  • 1 Clove Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Fresh Rosemary (finely minced)
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Pinch Black Pepper

Cauliflower:

  • 1 Large Head Cauliflower
  • 100 g. Flour
  • 120 ml. Plant Based Milk

Method:

Sauce:

  1. Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
  2. Set aside.

Cauliflower:

  1. Preheat oven to 230C.
  2. Spray a baking sheet with oil or cooking spray.
  3. Cut the cauliflower into florets.
  4. Whisk together the flour and milk in a bowl.
  5. Toss the cauliflower in the batter until thoroughly coated.
  6. Arrange the cauliflower on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Gently toss the cauliflower in the sauce on the sheet to coat.
  9. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
